Established in 2015, our Chabad House is directed by Rabbi Yisroel Noach Majesky and his wife Alti, along with their six wonderful children. Together, they have dedicated themselves to fostering a warm and welcoming environment where Jews of all backgrounds can come together to explore and grow in their faith.
At Chabad Lubavitch of Ghana, our mission is to promote Jewish learning, practice, and identity through a wide range of programs and services that cater to all age groups. We are a branch of the worldwide Chabad-Lubavitch movement, renowned for its efforts to reach every Jew with the light of Judaism, and to provide accessible and meaningful Jewish experiences.
Our Services
Our Adult Education programs offer a variety of classes and learning opportunities designed to deepen your understanding of Jewish laws, customs, and traditions. Regular classes are held on various topics, and we also provide one-on-one study sessions tailored to your interests and needs.
The Synagogue serves as the heart of our community, where we gather for daily prayers, Shabbat services, and Jewish holidays. We strive to create an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable participating, regardless of their level of knowledge or observance.
Our Mikveh offers a serene and private space for ritual purification, an essential part of Jewish life. We ensure that it meets the highest standards of cleanliness and halachic requirements, providing a meaningful experience for all who visit.
For the younger members of our community, we offer a range of educational and recreational programs. Our After School Programs and Preschool provide children with a strong foundation in Jewish education, integrating fun and learning in a dynamic environment. The Teen Club and Children's Club offer age-appropriate activities that help foster a strong sense of Jewish identity and community.
We are dedicated to celebrating Jewish milestones with our Bar/Bat Mitzvah Instruction and Bar Mitzvah Club, preparing young boys and girls for their special day. Through personalized tutoring and engaging programs, we ensure they are fully ready to embrace this important rite of passage.
Our Holiday Awareness Programs and Hands-on Holiday Programming bring the joy and spirit of Jewish holidays to life, helping families connect with tradition through interactive and enjoyable events. We also host Communal Lectures on various Jewish topics, enriching our collective knowledge and fostering meaningful discussions.
The Mommy and Me program provides a special bonding experience for mothers and young children through Jewish-themed activities, stories, and songs. Our Women's Group offers a supportive network for women to engage in study, social activities, and communal projects.
Practical services such as the Kosher Meal Plan, Kitchen Koshering, and Mezuzah Loans/Service ensure our community can maintain Jewish dietary laws and traditions with ease. We also offer Hospital Visitation to support community members during challenging times and bring the comfort of Jewish presence and prayer to those in need.
